The God of the Breakthrough

Greetings Friends,

This summer has been a busy time for us at Encouraging the Nations. We returned from Uganda in May overwhelmed at what we had seen God do. When the enemy tried to put obstacles in our path, God was faithful. But then, He always is faithful, isn’t He? He is the God of the Breakthrough.

In June, Ben and I had a wonderful time at the book signing for the book, Be Encouraged, in Davidson, N.C., at Main Street Books.

On July 31, we will welcome to our home our friend Ronna Cohen from Israel. She has a mighty testimony and ministry. Plan to come to Landmark Church of God in Statesville, N.C., on August 7 at 6:30 p.m. to hear her speak about the truth of what is happening in Israel. She understands what it means to say that God is the God of the Breakthrough.

In 2 Samuel 5: 17-25, we read that the Philistines came against David when they heard that he had been made king over Israel. David asked the Lord if he should go up against the Philistines. God said, “Yes,” and promised to give him the victory, which He did at Baal-perazim, meaning Lord of Breaking Through (ESV).

Today, do you need God to be your God of the Breakthrough? Be Encouraged! If He could deliver David, He can deliver you from your situation today.

You can find stories in Be Encouraged of women who found God to be the God of the Breakthrough. For places where you may purchase this book, see the web page, www.encouragingthenations.com

Be Blessed. Martha Holland Dobson
